These Referral Program Terms & Conditions (“Referral Terms”) govern your participation in the MargoGuide Referral Program. By sharing your referral link or code, you agree to these terms. The Referral Program is offered at MargoGuide’s discretion and may be modified or discontinued at any time.
1. Rewards
- Referred user: The person who signs up using your referral link or code will receive bonus points (the amount displayed in the Referral Program section at the time of signup) when they qualify as a successful referral.
- Referrer (you): You will receive bonus points (the amount displayed in the Referral Program section) for each successful referral. Current amounts are shown in your dashboard and may be updated by MargoGuide.
2. When Points Are Credited
Bonus points for both the referrer and the referred user are credited only after the referred user becomes a guide and completes KYC verification. Until the referred user completes guide onboarding and KYC, the referral remains “pending” and no points are awarded.
3. Withdrawal of Bonus Points
Eligibility to withdraw or use bonus points earned from the Referral Program may require the referrer (guide) to complete their first booking, as set out in MargoGuide’s Payments, Payout, and Settlement Policy. Referral bonus will remain in your bonus balance; when and how it can be withdrawn or used is governed by that policy.
4. Eligibility
- Only verified guides (users who have completed guide onboarding and KYC) can generate and share referral links or codes.
- The referred user must sign up through your referral link or enter your referral code at signup (or claim the code when converting from traveller to guide, where applicable).
- Each user may have only one referral code. Referral codes are non-transferable.
5. Qualifying Referrals
A referral counts as “completed” only when the referred user (i) has created an account using your link/code, (ii) has become a guide, and (iii) has completed KYC verification. MargoGuide reserves the right to reject or invalidate referrals that do not meet these criteria or that violate these terms.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You may not:
- Create fake or duplicate accounts to refer yourself or others;
- Use spam, misleading claims, or unauthorized marketing to promote your referral link;
- Offer incentives (e.g. cash, gifts) in exchange for signing up through your link, unless expressly permitted by MargoGuide;
- Manipulate or abuse the Referral Program in any way.
Violation may result in forfeiture of earned or pending bonus points, suspension or termination of your account, and any other action MargoGuide deems appropriate.
7. Changes to the Program
MargoGuide may change reward amounts, eligibility rules, or these Referral Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting or as otherwise communicated. Continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance. Current reward amounts are always displayed in the Referral Program section of your dashboard.
8. Other Terms
Participation in the Referral Program is subject to MargoGuide’s general Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and applicable Payments/Payout policies. In case of conflict, those policies apply to the extent of the conflict. Rewards and bonus points have no cash value unless and until redeemed according to MargoGuide’s policies.
