MargoGuide is committed to secure, transparent payments. This Payments, Points, Payout, and Settlement Policy ("Policy") explains how payments are processed and managed, payouts released, and settlements handled on our Platform. It applies to all transactions between Travellers and Guides. By using the Platform, you agree to this Policy, as incorporated into the Traveller Terms & Conditions.
Important Notes: - All users must be 18+ and comply with KYC requirements. - Payments are processed via authorized gateways (e.g., Razorpay/PayU Payments) compliant with RBI regulations. The Platform is not an escrow service. - Funds are settled to the Company's merchant account per standard cycles. - Currency conversion and international fees may apply for foreign Travellers (per gateway terms). Foreign Travellers must comply with Indian forex regulations. - All transactions are recorded for audit and dispute resolution (7-day window post-trip). - You authorize the Company to collect and process payments on behalf of Guides, deduct commissions, and facilitate refunds/payouts per Policies. - Strict Prohibition on Off-Platform Payments: You are strictly prohibited from making or attempting to make payments to Guides outside the Platform (including cash, bank transfers, or other methods) or circumventing the Platform's booking/payment processes. Any such activity is a material breach and may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account, forfeiture of any pending refunds or credits, and reporting to relevant authorities if fraud is suspected. Guides are similarly prohibited from soliciting, accepting, or facilitating any off-platform payments or bookings, including through direct transfers, external links, or circumvention of the Platform. Violations will result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account, forfeiture of pending payouts, and potential legal action. TRAVELLER PAYMENTS - Advance Payment: After Guide acceptance, pay 20% advance within 24 hours via the Platform. Failure auto-cancels the booking (no refund). - Balance Payment: Pay the remaining amount at least 48 hours before Trip Start Time. Failure triggers auto-cancellation per Cancellation Policy (no advance refund). - Payment Methods: Credit/debit cards, UPI, net banking, or wallets (subject to gateway availability). - Refunds: Processed per Cancellation/Refund Policy; timeline 5-10 business days. SETTLEMENT PROCESS - Disputes/Adjustments: Holds applied for investigations (e.g., no-shows, refunds). Evidence reviewed per Dispute Resolution Policy. - Funds are processed through third-party payment gateways and settled to the Company's merchant account. The Platform is not an escrow service and holds no funds on behalf of users beyond standard processing times.
SECURITY AND COMPLIANCE - All payments use PCI-DSS compliant gateways. - No off-Platform payments allowed; violations may suspend accounts. - International payments: Subject to FEMA 1999 and RBI forex rules.
PLATFORM RIGHTS - We may charge fees for chargebacks or invalid transactions. - Accounts suspended for fraud; funds forfeited after notice.
GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION Governed by laws of India. Disputes subject to exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh, or arbitration seated therein under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
